Dennis Delafield – The Veteran Opportunist
A Rich Family Heritage
Dennis Delafield
Dennis Delafield has a very rich family heritage.
His ancestors were one of the largest original landowners in New York State,
allowing them access to George Washington and John Adams. His great uncle,
Chancellor Robert Livingston helped negotiate the Louisiana Purchase.
Dennis has been managing money since 1957 and he has
worked side by side with his co-manager, Vince Sellecchia, since 1980. His vast level of
experience in both bull and bear markets is just one of the factors that qualifies Dennis
as a Money Master. He believes his skill as a stock analyst has been the key to achieving a
long-term track record of success. Rather than be boxed into a particular category, Dennis
likes to invest where he finds the best opportunity. Over the last few years, this has
been mostly in the stock of small and medium sized companies.
Controlling risk is a priority for Dennis and his team.
He states that: “The first principle of winning is not to lose. We never worry about
what we don’t make, we worry about what we might lose.” .
